Murrayfield (Scottish Gas Murrayfield) hosts rugby internationals and big concerts. The single most important thing to know: there is no parking at the stadium, and none in the surrounding streets, on event days. Here's how to actually get there.
No parking on event days
Scottish Rugby is clear: there's no parking at the stadium and none in the streets nearby on matchdays. The council enforces the controlled parking zones around the ground, and there are road closures, so trying to drive in and park is a wasted journey (and a likely ticket).

After the final whistle a queuing system runs at the Murrayfield tram stop — the right-hand queue heads to the city centre, Leith and Newhaven (via Haymarket and St Andrew Square for Waverley); the left-hand queue is for airport-bound services and Ingliston Park & Ride.
Blue Badge parking
A limited number of accessible spaces are available, but they must be pre-booked through Scottish Rugby — typically allocated by ballot for internationals and big events, around two weeks ahead. There's no access to the disabled car park without the required pass.
Non-event days
Visiting the Scottish Rugby Store or taking a stadium tour? On non-event days parking is available via the gatehouse on Roseburn Street.
